Due to the rigidity of our basepan material the center seat mount hooks are not required on the Corbin saddle.

Kawasaki really captured that classic look in the new 650RS and we’ve designed a seat to blend in perfectly with the visuals. Naturally, just like Kawasaki, we’ve come a long way since then and there’s a lot more going on under the hood than there was 50+ years ago.

Corbin’s Gunfighter & Lady seat provides total comfort for both you and a passenger. The sculpted riding positions disperse body weight across a greater area so you enjoy mile after mile of comfort. Neutralized seating platform curbs the tendency to slide towards the tank under braking which will help to reduce fatigue.

For even greater passenger comfort, Gunfighter & Lady accepts our optional removable backrest which adjusts to provide a tailored fit to co-pilot’s posture. Simple to install with just a single bolt, the Corbin backrest is the most refined system available for your bike. Designed specially to support your passenger for the long haul and provide a nice feeling of security. Available in a range of styles to suit your taste (#BR shown). Our Ovalbac models, like the one shown, even have rear finishing plate options for a more custom touch.

Corbin’s patented molding and manufacturing process provides a precision fit to the tank and tail section while the whole saddle rides on rubber bumpers to protect the bike’s paint. Inside, we use our exclusive Comfort Cell foam for firm support that lasts. Corbin saddles give a sporty, custom look yet still provide sport touring class comfort and ergonomic support.

Leather seating panels are included along with a range of color and material options. Shown here with Black Carbon-Fiber seating, Matte Black sides, Emerald Green welts, Black stitching and Medium Silver Corbin logo. Leather gives you an excellent seating surface that breathes with your body and will conform with the foam shape during break in for a personalized fit to your posterior. Be sure to care for it with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream.

Backrest hardware is included and built inside the saddle so there’s no brackets to clutter up the look of the machine. This saddle works with our new Ovalbac design backrests for ultimate comfort and very cool looks. The model backrest (shown) comes coordinated to your saddle and even has removable rear finishing plates that offer further custom options.

Corbin’s saddle mounts like stock with included latch pin premounted on the saddle. When new, you may wish to put a washer between seat and pin to ease locking on the bike. Remove these washers once the rubber bumpers have broken in a bit.

FIBERTECH BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don’t telegraph through the foam to your body.

COMFORT CELL FOAM: The heart of the Corbin saddle! Our exclusive, purpose built foam material, called Comfort Cell, was created to provide a firm, resilient ride that doesn’t break down. This means it will support you for long days on the road. Over time, Comfort Cell will break in to provide a personalized fit to your posture and even greater comfort

ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle’s foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue. PATENTED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: Always an innovator, Mike Corbin invented Integrated Molding technology which is now the process by which all Corbin saddles are made. This process allows extremely tight tolerances and creates a chemical bond between the foam and base material.
