One of our most highly requested seat models… “Holy cow, the stock seat is a dumpster fire!” happens to be one of our personal favorites.

To put out this fire, we’ve ergonomically corrected the seating platform and built it up of high-density Comfort Cell foam for surprising comfort value. Corbin’s front saddle is shaped like your body to create a greater area of body contact and proper weight distribution, the Corbin saddle eliminates pressure points and increases riding range. Built firm to stay resilient and support your body all day.

Our rear seat is built to give clean looks with a shape that supports your passenger for longer rides. On the inside, the saddle is built with the same high quality Comfort Cell foam to provide support. The Corbin rear seat is dished to help eliminate hot spots.

After an initial break-in period, Comfort Cell foam will adapt to your body to provide an even greater degree of comfort. Additionally, the seating platform has been neutralized to reduce the tendency to slide towards the tank under braking. Notice also how the front seat is shaped to provide support for your legs while your feet are on the footpegs, but is shaved in the nose area to allow good ground reach.

Our Fibertech basepan creates a firm foundation for the foam shape and keeps the carefully designed ergonomics intact. Engineered to fit every contour of the Ninja and provide a perfect fit. Under the saddle, rubber bumpers keep your paint job safe from scuffing. Both front and rear saddles mount like stock. Front saddle uses bracket transferred from your stock seat while passenger saddle comes ready to install.

Due to the limited space and lack of sufficient structure, we were unable to incorporate the Corbin passenger backrest system into this seat model. Besides, on bike models like this Ninja, a backrest is of limited use due to the aggressive seating posture.

Corbin saddles come standard with genuine leather seating inserts for a true touch of luxury. Shown above: Carbon Fiber style leather seating with Asphalt vinyl sides and Lime Green welt. FIBERTECH BASEPAN: A purpose built, hybrid material that provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed ergonomics of the Corbin saddle. Provides a precision fit to every arc and contour of the machine and rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint. We always design our basepans as flat as possible so bumps or odd shapes don’t telegraph through the foam to your body.

COMFORT CELL FOAM: The heart of the Corbin saddle! Our exclusive, purpose built foam material, called Comfort Cell, was created to provide a firm, resilient ride that doesn’t break down. ERGONOMIC SHAPING: A major part of the design criteria of the Corbin saddle is the Ergonomic shape. This means the saddle’s foam shape is designed to emulate the curves of the human body. This provides more square inches of body contact and helps to eliminate hot spots. This shaping also neutralizes the seating platform to help curb sliding in the saddle which reduces fatigue.
